In 1994, a dedicated group of residents—teachers, local business owners, retirees, and young families—saw challenges as opportunities to strengthen their community and foster progress. They believed in the power of Newton's people and their unwavering commitment to thriving together. With this vision in mind, they founded the Newton Pride Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to sparking positive change. By promoting educational enrichment, enhancing community development, and preserving the town's cultural heritage, the foundation provides grants, scholarships, and volunteer resources to fuel impactful initiatives, transforming Newton into a vibrant hub of and growth.
Today, as it continues embracing new challenges and opportunities, the Newton Pride Education Foundation remains steadfast in its commitment to enhancing the vibrancy and livability of Newton.
